Preventative Care for Patients and in Business: An Interview with Katie Bayer

Katie has had her own journey with pelvic health, having a C-section with her twins and a VBAC for her third. She's experienced post-partum recovery from both.

5 Reminders When Treating Chronic Pain

Pelvic PT Rising: The pelvic health tools to make you a better clinician and/or a more successful business owner. We want every single pelvic health practitioner to be more confident and successful in your practice and career!

  • Clinical Courses: Game-changing online courses to make you more confident, challenge your thinking and improve patient outcomes

  • Business Resources: Helping 500+ pelvic health practitioners confidently start, grow and build their dream business!

Despite having pain and post-partum issues, Katie was never referred to pelvic PT.

The extent of the help she received was hearing "well, Kegels don't work, but you can do them if you want" from her OB.

She went on to find her own pelvic floor physical therapist and is now a passionate advocate for pelvic healthcare.

Starting her own business has helped Katie find autonomy and flexibility, integrating into her local community while being even more present for her kids.

Katie had a winding road to owning her own practice, starting in the midst of Covid. She's proved to herself she can start and run a business. Like many PTs, Katie has made the transition from concierge/mobile practice to her brick & mortar practice.

After deciding to start her own practice, Katie wanted to work with a program that understood both the business and clinical side of pelvic health and joined the Pelvic PT Rising Mentorship Program even before her business started. She's debunking the myth you have to have a problem with your business before getting help; we believe in preventative care for both patients and business!
